EOS welcomes a new member to the Board

The EOS Board welcomes a new member, Professor Martin Hall. Professor Hall is Vice Chancellor at Salford University in the United Kingdom He took up his current post in 2009 after forging a distinguished academic career in archaeology and social sciences in South Africa. As well as archaeology, Professor Hall's research interests span a number of other areas, including knowledge organisations and the intersection of public and private sectors.

Professor Bernard Rentier, Chair of the EOS Board, said "We are all very pleased that Martin has agreed to join us. We look forward to having him as part of the team to take forward thinking on scholarship and the future roles of universities. His contribution to the effort will be extremely valuable to EOS".
